On the 12 Days of Christmas there’s so much stuff to do!

The run up to Christmas is a hectic time. So, forget about the partridge in a pear tree, here’s what you should do in your last couple of working weeks before the Christmas break.

On the 1st day of Christmas…get the shopping done during your lunch break. You don’t want to be worrying about last minute shopping on Christmas Eve, so fit in a shopping trip well in advance.

On the 2nd day of Christmas…organise the staff party. You and your staff deserve a treat to celebrate the end of the year, so make it a good one!

On the 3rd day of Christmas…get all your budgets submitted. That’s one less thing to worry about while you should be relaxing over Christmas.

On the 4th day of Christmas…complete all the personal development reviews.

On the 5th day of Christmas…spend all the money you didn’t use from this year before it gets taken away.

On the 6th day of Christmas…make sure your team are in good spirits and relaxing so they can enjoy the festivities.

On the 7th day of Christmas…take time to get to know your colleagues and what they are doing.

On the 8th day of Christmas…decide whether a Christmas jumper day is a good idea or whether it’s simply embarrassing.

On the 9th day of Christmas…figure out how you want to start your 2018 and get team input. Set goals together to motivate yourselves in the new year.

On the 10th day of Christmas…do all that administration you have been putting off, including email archiving and submitting your tax return. You don’t want it waiting for you in January.

On the 11th day of Christmas…take time to read blogs and books you haven’t had time to or watch a TedTalk.

On the 12th day of Christmas…tidy your desk, then there’s nothing left to do except leave a bit early and kick back and relax.

Merry Christmas! From sarah@sarah-j.com.
